Belvedere

Today we went to the Belvedere.
It is one of the castles of Prince Eugene of Savoye.
He lived in the lower castle;
the upper one was his party pad.
Today it houses the Austrian Gallery.

Here is the man himself.
Prince Eugene of Savoy defeated the Turks for Emperor Charles VI.

We saw Klimt's "Kiss",

we saw Franz Xaver Messerschmidt's heads from the 18th century,

 they also had a light installation.

The gardens were spectacular.
