Loser and Knödelalm

We hiked up the Loser today. 

We drove up the toll road and then walked up from the Augsee.

This is what the Loser looks from below. 

 Here we are in front of the Loser Window. 

We had a very nice view from the summit. 

The lake at the bottom is Alt Aussee Lake. 

At night we had a reservation at the Knödelalm.
It is a restaurant specializing in filled dumplings located on a summer meadow high above the valley.

 We had an assortment of savory dumplings,

we listened to some live music,

we checked out their Schnaps-Collection,

then we had to sample their sweet dumpling collection.
The chocolate dumplings were our favorites.
